thought i'd let you all know that some months ago i entered the.....

Avant Card "Calling For Artists Project".

 Avant Cards are free postcards displayed in a variety of interesting and

anyhow, their response to my entry...

 ........"As artists receive little exposure in the general public, Avant Card has decided to print artists work to create a more visually exciting array of images in our display stands. We were very impressed with the high quality of your work.

Congratulations! You have been one of the successful artists in our Calling all Artists project to print artists images for free!

 We have selected the image WINTER DUSK

its  now off the press...YEAH!!!..so go find!!

as i received on 17/12/08....

......."Your artcard will be installed in our displays from today for 2-4 weeks. I’ll also be posting out your 1000 samples today."

i shot it in new Zealand and then cross-processed the tranparency film in negative developers to achieve the colors..
